Call nowCan a shower cabin be installed directly onto an existing tiled floor without a tray?
Yes, a flush-floor cabin is possible if the existing drain sits at the right level and the floor has enough fall. If the drain is too high or the tile slope is wrong, minor floor works are needed first.
What happens if the silicone around the frame cracks or detaches after a while?
Cracked silicone lets water behind the tiles, causing hidden wall damp that shows late. The old bead must be fully removed and the surface cleaned before applying a fresh run, not simply painted over.
Does Kuwait's hard water affect the shower mixer or head inside the cabin?
Yes, mineral scale blocks shower head nozzles and stiffens mixer handles over time. Regular soaking of the head in a descaling solution keeps flow even and protects internal mixer seals.
Can the cabin be fitted in an older bathroom without replacing the existing tiles?
Usually yes, provided the existing tiles are firmly bonded and the wall behind is solid enough for anchors. Hollow or loose tiles need attention before the frame can be fixed.
How long does fitting a shower cabin normally take?
When the drain and supply lines are already in place, installation is completed in a single visit. Drain adjustments or supply rough-in work can add a second day.
