Call nowCan a bathtub be installed in a bathroom that has no existing bathtub drain point?
It is possible, but it requires opening the floor to run a new drain line and connect it to the main stack with the correct fall. This increases cost and extends the work time compared with a straight replacement.
Why does the silicone line around a bathtub crack some time after installation?
An acrylic tub expands and flexes under heat and water load. A rigid or acid-cure silicone cracks under that movement. Flexible neutral-cure sanitary silicone accommodates the flex and keeps the joint watertight.
Does Kuwait's hard water affect a bathtub mixer or filler fitting over time?
Yes, mineral scale builds up inside the mixer cartridge and aerators, reducing flow and wearing seals. Regular filter cleaning and fitting an inlet pressure reducer help extend the life of the fitting.
Is it practical to change the position of a bathtub within the same bathroom?
Technically possible, but it requires new supply lines and a correctly sloped drain run cut into the floor slab. The scope of work rises significantly compared with a like-for-like replacement in the same position.
Does a stone resin or cast bathtub need different fixing compared with an acrylic one?
Yes. Heavy cast or stone resin tubs need stiffer, more numerous support feet and even load distribution on the floor slab. The technician assesses both floor and support arrangement before installation begins.
