In Kuwait, drain invert levels often vary between rooms because concrete pours are done in stages, so the technician checks the fall and adjusts the fixture height or adds a short adapter run before committing to final fixing. Getting this right prevents the stagnant traps that accelerate scale in hard-water areas.
Jacuzzi and freestanding shower-cabin installation requires the base sealed with neutral-cure silicone on both faces and an access panel left open to the pump. Wall-hung toilets need a steel carrier frame anchored into the block structure, not just the tile face, and the cistern fill valve must be set to match roof-pump pressure so it seats properly and does not drip. Yes, but it needs a steel carrier frame fixed with chemical anchors that penetrate through the block to the concrete structure. Surface fixing into tiles alone is never adequate for the load a wall-hung toilet carries.
Why does scale build up around the basin base so quickly?
Kuwait's hard water leaves mineral deposits wherever water evaporates. If the basin base is not properly sealed with neutral silicone, moisture migrates along the gap and dries to leave a visible scale ring. A clean sealed joint slows this considerably.
Does jacuzzi installation include the electrical connection?
Yes, jacuzzi fitting is coordinated with the electrical team to run a dedicated moisture-protected circuit to the pump. This is treated as one job, not two separate visits.
Can a shower cabin be installed where there is no existing floor drain?
It is possible by breaking a small section of floor, running a new drain stub-out with the correct fall, and reinstating the tiles. The exact scope is assessed during the site survey before any work begins.
What is the difference between a plastic and a brass basin trap?
Brass traps are more resistant to heat distortion and last longer with Kuwait's mineral-heavy water. Quality uPVC traps perform adequately at lower cost where water temperatures are not extreme. The right choice depends on the fixture location and hot-water exposure.
Can an ablution basin and a washbasin be fitted in the same visit?
Yes, provided supply and drain points are already stubbed out at both locations. The technician sequences the fitting according to floor level and access so both fixtures are completed and tested in one visit.
