Call nowDoes a jacuzzi need a dedicated electrical circuit or can it run from a regular socket?
The jet pump and air blower draw more current than a standard socket can safely handle, so a dedicated circuit with GFCI protection is required. Running the unit on a regular socket risks repeated trips and is unsafe near water.
Does Kuwait's hard water affect the jets and pump of a jacuzzi over time?
Yes, mineral scale builds up inside the jet nozzles and narrows the bore, reducing pump output. Periodic flushing with a diluted descaling solution clears deposits before they reach the pump impeller.
Can a jacuzzi be installed in a bathroom that currently has no suitable drain point?
It is possible, but it requires opening the floor to run a drain line of adequate bore with the correct fall toward the sewer network. This adds to both cost and time and will be reflected clearly in the quotation.
Why does the silicone around the jacuzzi rim crack after a short time?
Acrylic jacuzzi shells expand and contract with temperature changes. If a non-flexible or acetate-cure silicone was used, or if it was applied over a damp surface, it loses adhesion quickly. Resealing with neutral-cure flexible silicone resolves it.
Can a freestanding jacuzzi be installed without breaking the floor tiles?
If supply and drain points are close to the unit position, a surface drain connection is sometimes possible. If the nearest drain is too far or at the wrong level, floor breaking becomes necessary to achieve the correct fall.
