Call nowCan walls be painted without removing furniture from the room?
Furniture can be covered and moved to the centre of the room to protect floors and items. Full removal gives a cleaner result and reduces working time, but is not always required.
Why does paint peel quickly on exterior walls in Kuwait?
Intense heat and UV break down standard paint films within a few seasons. Coastal humidity weakens adhesion further. The fix is an exterior UV-resistant paint over a properly bonded primer.
Is a primer coat needed on walls that are already painted?
If the old paint is fully sound, cleaning and light scuffing may be enough. Where stains are present or the paint type changes, a primer is needed to ensure proper bonding of the new coat.
How are aluminium window frames protected during wall painting?
Frames and glass are covered with masking tape and paper before work starts. The tape is removed carefully after painting while the edge coat is still slightly soft to get a clean line.
Does bathroom wall painting differ from painting the rest of the house?
Yes. Bathrooms have persistent moisture and steam, so they need an anti-fungal, moisture-resistant paint. The primer used is also different to block water absorption through the plaster.
