Call nowCan the ceiling be painted without painting the walls at the same time?
Yes, the ceiling can be done on its own with walls protected by masking and drop sheets. Many clients do this when refreshing a ceiling without changing the existing wall colour.
Why does a bathroom ceiling yellow so quickly in Kuwait?
Repeated steam combined with standard wall paint is the main cause. Moisture-resistant ceiling paint and adequate bathroom ventilation together prevent the yellowing from returning.
How many coats does a new gypsum ceiling need?
A new gypsum ceiling typically needs a filler coat over joints, a primer, then 2 finish coats for uniform coverage. Skipping steps makes joints and tonal differences visible in the final surface.
Do damp stains on a ceiling disappear after painting?
An active stain bleeds back through ordinary paint quickly. The source of the leak must be fixed first; the stain is then treated with a stain-blocking coat before the finish paint is applied.
Does painting a bedroom ceiling require vacating the room for long?
The room furniture is moved or well covered, but the rest of the house stays in use. The room can be returned to once the final coat is dry and the space has been ventilated properly.
