Dark colours typically bleed through a single light coat. A blocking primer reduces the number of finish coats needed and gives a clean, even result.
What is the difference between washable paint and standard paint for rooms?
Washable paint withstands wiping with water and mild cleaners without fading, making it suited to children's rooms and high-traffic spaces. Standard paint is thinner and may break down with repeated cleaning.
Can a single room be painted without clearing the rest of the house?
Yes, we work one room at a time with the door closed and contents covered. Good ventilation is needed during and after painting to clear fumes.
Is surface preparation as important as the paint quality itself?
Preparation is the foundation. Premium paint fails on a cracked, dirty or damp surface. Filling cracks, cleaning the wall and applying the right primer determines how long the finish lasts.
How are marble floors and doors protected during room painting?
Masking tape is applied to door frames and window frames, and floors are covered with secured plastic or canvas sheets. Marble is sensitive to paint spray and difficult to clean once dry.
