Yes, but the adhesive and board type must be matched to air-conditioned environments. Boards with better dimensional stability handle the repeated temperature and humidity cycles that continuous AC creates.
How are wall parquet boards cleaned in a Kuwaiti home?
Wiping with a dry or lightly damp cloth is enough. Avoid alkaline cleaners or spraying water directly at edges, as excess moisture entering joints can weaken the adhesive bond over time.
Is wall parquet suitable for coastal areas of Kuwait?
Yes, provided boards have a suitable protective coating and a moisture-resistant adhesive is used. In coastal locations, airborne salt is an added factor, so sealing all edges carefully prevents salt-laden moisture from getting behind the boards.
What is the difference between wall parquet and ready-made wood wall panels?
Wall parquet uses flooring-grade boards bonded vertically with specialist methods. Ready-made wall panels may be lighter or come in different profiles. The choice depends on the look required, the budget and the wall substrate.
Can wall parquet be fixed over a wall that already has tiles on it?
It is possible if the existing tiles are fully secure and the surface is flat. Loose or cracked tiles must be removed first because the adhesive needs a solid, stable base to maintain a lasting bond with the boards.
