Call nowCan the majlis be designed around existing furniture?
Yes, we take dimensions of existing pieces and build them into the new space plan so the finishes align with what you keep. Replacement is only needed if the piece conflicts with the structural layout.
Is natural marble practical for a majlis floor used every day?
Natural marble is durable enough for daily use if it is sealed properly against staining from drinks and oils, and polished periodically to maintain its surface. Unsealed marble in a busy majlis will mark quickly.
How does designing a majlis differ from a living room?
A Kuwaiti majlis is built for formal hosting with a separate entrance, so the design prioritises entry circulation, formal lighting and perimeter seating density rather than the relaxed daily-use focus of a family living room.
Can thermal insulation be added during the majlis design to cut cooling costs?
Yes, insulation panels can be incorporated behind the outer wall finishes during the fit-out, and specifying double-glazed aluminium frames for the majlis windows reduces heat load noticeably on south-facing and west-facing sides.
Does the design service include execution or is it a separate stage?
Design is a standalone stage ending with approved drawings and a materials schedule. Execution can then be contracted to us separately with site supervision, or the client may use a different contractor with the drawings we provide.
