Call nowCan central AC be installed in a rented apartment without major damage to the ceiling?
Central AC does require opening the gypsum ceiling to run ducts, which means real construction work. We recommend agreeing the permitted scope with the property owner before any work begins.
How does apartment AC installation differ practically from villa AC?
Apartments typically have a tighter ceiling void, restricted outdoor unit positions and less construction freedom than standalone villas. This affects duct routing choices and sometimes the system type selected.
Can each room run at a different temperature on a central AC system?
A single-unit ducted system uses one thermostat for the whole apartment. Independent room control requires a fan-coil system with a separate terminal unit in each zone.
What happens if the condensate pump fails in a mid-floor apartment?
Water backs up in the drip tray until it overflows into the ceiling void, causing damp patches or drips through the gypsum board. We test the pump and drain line during commissioning to catch this before handover.
Does apartment central AC installation include the electrical work the unit needs?
Electrical work for the AC unit is coordinated as part of the project scope. If the distribution board needs upgrading or a new breaker, this is discussed and priced separately during the design stage.
