Yes, in low buildings gravity pressure can feed lower floors adequately. In multi-storey houses a pressure pump is needed to maintain acceptable flow at the top floor.
What size roof tank suits a typical Kuwaiti family home?
Size depends on the number of residents, floors and daily water use. The technician calculates the right capacity during the site survey based on these factors.
Why does a roof tank lose water with no visible leak?
A faulty float valve often leaves the fill line open and water overflows through the overflow outlet. A leak on the buried outlet line far from the tank is another common cause.
Does sweet water roof tank installation differ from municipal water tank installation?
The method is similar but a sweet water tank connects to a separate fill line from the delivery tanker and needs an extra isolation valve to prevent mixing with the municipal supply.
Does Kuwait's mineral scale affect a roof tank?
Scale builds mainly on the float valve and fill inlet, slowing tank filling and stopping the valve from closing fully. Regular cleaning of the valve prevents this problem.
