Call nowCan recessed spots be added to an existing gypsum ceiling without removing it?
Usually yes. Holes are cut with a hole saw, cable is pulled through the void above the board, and the fitting is connected from below. Demolition is not needed as long as the ceiling void allows cable routing.
Why do some LED spots fail quickly in Kuwait?
Heat trapped in the ceiling void during summer is the most common cause; it degrades the driver or the LED chip quickly. Fittings rated for high ambient temperatures last significantly longer in Kuwait's climate.
Does a standard dimmer switch work with LED lamps?
Not reliably. Traditional trailing-edge dimmers designed for halogen can cause flicker or buzzing with LED drivers. A dimmer specified to match the LED driver type is needed for stable, silent operation.
Does exterior facade lighting need its own circuit?
In practice yes. A dedicated circuit allows independent night switching and means a fault from outdoor moisture or UV damage cannot affect interior lighting. It also makes fitting a residual current device for the outdoor points straightforward.
How do I know if my existing wiring can handle extra lighting points?
It requires checking the distribution board for spare ways and verifying the cable size feeding existing lighting circuits. The site survey covers this; we confirm whether current wiring can take the load or a new circuit is needed.
