In many cases cables can be routed through ceiling voids or existing conduit runs, reducing wall cutting significantly. It depends on accessible routes and the current finish type.
Why do outlets feel warm even though the wiring is relatively new?
The common cause is an undersized cable for the load, or a loose termination inside the socket back-box. Both need prompt inspection because warmth precedes an electrical fault.
Does electrical wiring for a commercial building differ from a residential villa?
Yes, commercial buildings typically require three-phase circuits, higher load ratings and different breaker specifications. Design starts with a full load estimate before cable sizes are chosen.
How do I know if the cable cross-section used is correct for my load?
It is calculated from the total amperage of each circuit, factoring in route length and ambient temperature. A correctly sized cable stays cool under full load.
Can data and network cables be run at the same time as the electrical wiring?
Yes, coordinating data and low-voltage cables in the same phase avoids reopening walls later. They must run in separate conduits away from power cables to prevent interference.
