What the contract covers
Periodic inspections, fault clearance and full documentation of the installation's condition.

Periodic wiring checks
Testing insulation resistance and continuity to catch cable deterioration early.

Distribution board review
Checking breakers, terminals and connections at every scheduled visit.

Emergency fault clearance
Priority response when a sudden fault affects building operations.

New outlet and circuit points
Adding circuits or outlets within agreed contract scope when needed.

Written visit report
Documenting every observation and action to track the building's condition over time.

Earthing and protection check
Verifying earth continuity and confirming residual current devices operate correctly.
Signs your building needs a contract
Repeated trips on specific circuits
A breaker that trips repeatedly without obvious overload points to cable deterioration or a loose terminal.
Warm sockets or switch plates
A socket or switch plate warm to the touch means a loose connection or a cable undersized for the actual load.
Lighting that flickers under load
Lights flickering when an AC unit or heavy appliance starts indicates a voltage drop or a deteriorating connection.
Burning smell near the board
A burnt plastic smell near the distribution board calls for an immediate inspection before further use.
Before you call: what to have ready
Wiring drawings if available
A circuit layout or as-built drawings help define the contract scope and produce an accurate quote.
List of high-load appliances
AC units, pumps, lifts and industrial equipment: their count and ratings determine inspection priorities.
Identify problem areas
Note which floors or rooms show repeated faults or symptoms so the technician can prioritise on arrival.
Coverage type you need
Decide whether you want inspections only, or a contract that includes fault repair and emergency callouts.
More in electrical works.
What goes wrong with most finishing.
The finish is what you see every day, and its mistakes do not hide. These three are the most common.
01A rushed finish
The finish is what you live with every day. Rushing it shows in every corner.
02Four contractors for one finish
Tiling, gypsum, paint and aluminium crews who never talk to each other.
03After-care that never comes
Once you have the keys, it is hard to find anyone to come back and fix what shows up.
The solution?

What sets the price.
No fixed rate applies; the following factors shape the contract value and visit frequency.
Get a quoteBuilding size and floors
More circuits, outlets and floor area increases time and materials per visit.
Visit frequency
Monthly visits cost more annually than quarterly or biannual schedules.
Fault and emergency coverage
Including unscheduled fault repair and emergency callouts raises the contract value.
Age of existing installation
Older wiring needs more detailed testing and is more likely to need component replacement.
Repair scope included
The ceiling on included repair value versus charged extras directly affects the contract price.

Questions, answered.
Call nowWhat is the difference between an electrical maintenance contract and a repair contract?
A maintenance contract covers scheduled inspections and preventive checks. A repair contract also covers fault clearance when faults occur. Many contracts combine both with a clearly defined scope for each.
Does the contract cover faults caused by coastal humidity or dust infiltration?
Coastal humidity affects distribution boards and outlets, and fine dust accumulation can cause arcing inside terminals. Periodic inspections included in the contract detect and address these effects early.
Can a commercial building and a private residence be covered under one contract?
A single contract can cover multiple sites. Visit schedules and response terms are defined separately for each site within the same agreement.
What happens if the technician finds a fault bigger than the contract scope during a scheduled visit?
The fault is recorded in the visit report and a separate repair quote is submitted. The file is never closed without fully informing the client about the condition found.
Is an electrical maintenance contract worthwhile for a recently renovated building?
New wiring needs connection settling and breaker adjustment during the first period of real use. An early contract catches any immature connection before it develops into a fault.
