What sets this area apart

Farwaniya is a mixed residential area with four to six-storey apartment buildings and villas on medium-depth plots. Many older buildings have wooden ceilings, while newer ones have concrete slabs. This variety requires adapted wiring methods: in wooden ceilings we run conduits in metal tubes for better protection; in concrete we embed conduits in grooves cut before the pour. We calculate point count based on unit area and the expected use of each room.

Farwaniya sits in Farwaniya governorate and includes residential zones near Farwaniya Hospital and Third Ring Road.

We install light switches at 120 centimetres above finished floor level per the Kuwaiti electrical code.

Questions about Lighting installation in Farwaniya

Call now
Does the wiring method differ between wooden and concrete ceilings?

Yes, a clear difference. Wooden ceilings require running conduit in sturdy metal tubes to protect against water ingress and mechanical damage. Concrete ceilings need grooves chased before pouring, with conduits routed through them.

How many switches are needed for the bathroom and kitchen?

The bathroom needs one switch minimum near the entrance. The kitchen needs two or three: one near the door and another near the sink or work counter. It depends on kitchen size and the plan.
