Signs the wall needs breaking
Layout no longer works

Cracks keep returning after patching, pointing to a wall that needs removing and rebuilding
Chronic wall dampness
Regular damp patches or flaking paint reveal a hidden leak inside the block wall
Planned kitchen or hall extension
Plan to merge two rooms or open up a living space requires removing an existing partition wall
Common mistakes in wall breaking
Breaking a load-bearing wall
Skipping structural drawings check risks breaking a slab-bearing wall causing ceiling cracks or worse
Ignoring concealed services
Breaking without a prior check can cut live electrical cables or water pipes buried inside the block
No lintel above the opening
Opening a gap without a concrete lintel causes the block above to crack and spread over time
Dust spread unchecked
Breaking without sealing doorways fills the whole building with fine dust and clogs AC filters

What goes wrong with most finishing.
The finish is what you see every day, and its mistakes do not hide. These three are the most common.
01A rushed finish
The finish is what you live with every day. Rushing it shows in every corner.
02Four contractors for one finish
Tiling, gypsum, paint and aluminium crews who never talk to each other.
03After-care that never comes
Once you have the keys, it is hard to find anyone to come back and fix what shows up.
The solution?
Full finishing, and maintenance after it, from one licensed company.

A rushed finishTurnkey finishing
Marble, tiling, gypsum and paint from one company.

Four contractors for one finishOne company for every trade
No gaps between the tiler, the gypsum crew and the painter.

After-care that never comesRegular maintenance after handover
And finishing on instalments if you need it.
How it works.
First contact

Adjacent openings sealed and floors protected before any breaking starts
Breaking and clearing
Wall broken with the correct tool and rubble collected immediately
Final handover
Edges dressed, site cleaned, and opening handed over ready for finishing
What sets the price.
No fixed rate applies since wall type, thickness, location and access conditions all shape the final quote
Get a quoteWall type and thickness
Standard concrete block breaks faster than brick or reinforced concrete panels
Area to be broken
Full wall removal takes more labour than cutting a single door opening
Concealed services
Services inside the wall need rerouting before breaking, adding labour and time
Site access difficulty
Upper floors or tight corridors raise the cost of getting tools in and rubble out
Edge dressing and finish
Squaring edges and casting a lintel add to the base breaking cost if required

Questions, answered.
Call nowHow do you confirm a wall is non-structural before breaking it?
We request structural drawings where available and check the wall's orientation relative to the slab and columns. If doubt remains we bring in a structural engineer before any breaking starts.
Can a wall be broken in an occupied residential floor without disturbing neighbours?
Breaking with a hammer drill causes vibration and noise that cannot be fully eliminated. Limiting work to daytime hours and shortening the breaking window reduces the impact on neighbours.
Does every new opening in a block wall need a concrete lintel?
Yes, every opening cut into a block wall needs a reinforced lintel above it to redistribute load and prevent cracking. Lintel size depends on the opening width.
Does the service include rerouting electrical wiring inside the wall being broken?
Identifying wiring is part of the survey. Actual rerouting is coordinated with the electrician and priced separately based on the scope of work involved.
What happens if a water pipe is found inside the wall during breaking?
Breaking stops immediately and you are informed. A plumber is brought in to reroute or safely cap the pipe before work resumes.
