What we cover - Roof-tile contractor

What we cover

Tile roofs installed from sub-frame preparation through ridge capping and pointing.

  • New tile installation

Full pitched roof tiling on new villas or completed shell structures.

  • Repair and replacement

Lifting cracked or slipped tiles, reseating them and stopping water ingress.

  • Sub-frame structure

Timber or steel battens set at the correct pitch before any tile is placed.

  • Underlay membrane

Breathable or bituminous underlay laid under tiles to block dust and moisture.

  • Ridge and edge finishing

Ridge tiles and verge pieces bedded and jointed with heat-resistant mortar.

  • Gutters and drainage

Gutters and downpipes fitted so rainwater discharges away from the foundations.

Signs your roof needs attention

  1. Cracked or slipped tiles

Tiles visible from ground level that are cracked, displaced or missing expose the deck to rain and dust.

  2. Damp patches on ceilings

Water stains on the top-floor ceiling point to tile joints or underlay that have failed and let water through.

  3. Crumbling ridge mortar

Loose mortar fragments falling from the ridge line mean ridge tiles are no longer secure and may detach.

  4. Fine dust falling indoors

Dust from sandstorms entering rooms through the ceiling indicates the underlay beneath the tiles has torn or lifted.

Materials and methods we use

  1. Fired clay tiles

Withstands extreme heat, holds colour under harsh sun, and handles the daily thermal expansion cycle well.

  2. Pressed concrete tiles

Heavier than clay, offers better thermal mass, used when the sub-frame is rated for the extra load.

  3. Breathable underlay

Lets moisture vapour escape outward while blocking dust and water from reaching the timber deck below.

  4. Heat-resistant bedding mortar

Used to bed ridge and verge pieces because standard mortar cracks under the severe thermal movement of Kuwait's summer.

Part of: General contracting

More in general contracting.

What goes wrong on most builds.

Most problems are built in early and found late. These three cost the most to fix.

  1. 01

    Shortcuts under the finish

Concrete and steel disappear under the finish, so a shortcut there stays hidden until it cracks.

  2. 02

    Mistakes behind the wall

A water or drain mistake found after the finish means breaking new tile.

  3. 03

    A rushed finish

The finish is what you live with every day. Rushing it shows in every corner.

The solution?

One licensed company for the structure, the pipes and the finish.

  1. A concrete slab with its rebar grid before the pour
    Shortcuts under the finish

    Engineering supervision on site

The structure is followed before it is covered.

  2. Water and drain pipes inside a wall before tiling
    Mistakes behind the wall

    Plumbing by the same company

    Laid before the walls close.

  3. A bathroom finished in modern marble

The same company finishes and maintains.

How it works.

  1. First contact

Call or WhatsApp us with photos of the roof and the project location.

  2. Site inspection

We visit to measure the roof, assess the sub-frame and confirm the tile spec.

  3. Quote and contract

A detailed quote covering materials, labour and a work schedule is submitted.

  4. Installation

Sub-frame prepared, underlay laid, then tiles, ridge and gutters installed in sequence.

  5. Inspection and handover

Fixings and drainage are checked and a water test run before final handover.

What sets the price.

Pricing is set after site inspection; several project-specific factors determine the final figure.

Get a quote
  1. Roof area

Every square metre of sloped surface is measured including all pitches.

  2. Tile type selected

Clay, concrete and imported tiles vary widely in unit supply cost.

  3. Sub-frame condition

Replacing or reinforcing an existing sub-frame adds material and labour cost.

  4. Height and access

Greater height needs scaffolding or a crane lift, raising overall cost.

  5. Gutters and extras

Gutters, downpipes and ridge vents are each priced as separate line items.

Why one contractor beats four.

Every extra contractor means another schedule and another excuse. With us, one company answers for all of it.

  1. Turnkey

Shell and finishing with one company, from footings to keys.

  2. Pay in instalments

Construction and finishing on instalments. Ask us for the details.

  3. Engineering supervision

Architectural drawings and engineering supervision on site.

  4. After handover

Questions, answered.

Call now
Is roof tiling suitable for Kuwait's hot climate?

Fired clay tiles handle intense heat and daily thermal movement without degrading. The key is correct installation on a rated sub-frame with an underlay that reduces heat transfer into the building.

How often does a tiled roof need maintenance?

Inspect after each rain season and after heavy sandstorms to check mortar joints and tile seating. Periodic inspection catches small problems before they become costly repairs.

Can tiles be installed on an existing flat roof?

Yes, but a new sub-frame with the correct pitch must be built over the flat deck first. A structural check is needed to confirm the existing slab can carry the added load.

What is the practical difference between clay and concrete tiles?

Clay is lighter, absorbs heat more slowly and holds colour longer. Concrete offers better thermal mass but is heavier, so the sub-frame must be designed to handle the extra load.

Can you repair only the damaged section without retiling the whole roof?

Yes, individual cracked or displaced tiles can be lifted and replaced with matching units without disturbing the rest of the roof, provided the sub-frame and underlay elsewhere remain sound.
