Call nowDoes soundproofing one room require any work outside that room?
All work stays within the room being treated. The lining is built inward and nothing outside the room boundary is disturbed. The only visible change is a small reduction in the room's internal dimensions.
How much floor area is lost when a room is fully lined for sound?
Each lined wall typically takes between 8 and 12 centimetres of depth. A room lined on all four sides loses roughly that amount from each dimension. The exact figure is confirmed after the site survey.
Does Kuwait's coastal humidity affect materials used inside room linings?
Dense gypsum board and mineral wool used in standard room linings are not degraded by normal indoor humidity. Rooms with consistently high moisture, such as kitchens, call for moisture-resistant board grades instead.
Do split AC units fitted in the room create gaps that undo the soundproofing?
AC pipe sleeves through the wall are a common weak point if left open. We seal them with flexible acoustic material that allows pipe movement while closing the sound path completely.
Can a room in an older building be soundproofed without a full renovation?
In most cases the acoustic lining builds over existing walls and ceilings without full demolition. Only damaged or hollow plaster sections are removed before the new assembly is fitted.
