Call nowCan an existing manual shutter be converted to motorised without changing the slats?
Yes in most cases. The manual axle is replaced with a tubular motor of the same diameter while the existing slats and side channels stay in place, avoiding the cost of a full shutter replacement.
Can the motor handle Kuwait's extreme summer heat?
Motors suitable for the region are rated for high ambient temperatures. The drum box shields the motor from direct sun, and the tubular motor sits inside the shutter housing away from direct radiation.
What happens during a power cut? can the shutter still be opened manually?
Most tubular motors include a manual release clutch that allows the shutter to be operated by hand during a power cut. We confirm this feature is present when selecting the motor for each job.
Can multiple shutters be controlled from a single remote?
Yes. A single remote can be programmed to operate a group of shutters together with one button, or to control each shutter individually on separate channels of the same handset.
Does running the motor cable require breaking into the wall?
It depends on the distribution board location and cable route. Surface-mounted conduit is often used to avoid wall cutting, but concealed chasing is done where available for a neater finish.
