What general renovation covers
Multi-trade works carried out under one supervisor with a clear sequence.

Crack repair
Injecting and sealing surface and structural cracks before refinishing.

Interior paint renewal
Removing old layers, filling, priming and repainting walls and ceilings.

Floor replacement
Lifting cracked tiles and laying new marble, porcelain or ceramic.

Roof and surface waterproofing
Applying waterproofing membranes before retiling roofs and wet areas.

External surface treatment
Cleaning, sealing and painting facades with heat and salt-resistant coatings.

Plumbing and electrical works
Fixing leaks and replacing aged pipe and wiring runs within the scope.
Materials and methods used
Epoxy resin injection
Injected into hairline and structural cracks to bond concrete and stop propagation.
Elastomeric reflective paint
Stretches with facade movement in heat and reflects solar radiation to cut indoor temperature.
Bituminous waterproofing membrane
Applied to roofs and bathroom floors before tiling to stop water at the source.
Polymer-modified repair mortar
Used to patch spalled concrete and level surfaces before finishing coats are applied.
Common mistakes in general renovation
Painting over damp walls
Paint applied to a damp wall peels within one season and traps mould behind it.
Tiling before waterproofing
Laying tiles directly on concrete leads to costly water damage beneath the floor later.
Filling cracks with gypsum only
Gypsum filler cracks again as the wall expands and contracts with Kuwait's heat cycles.
Unsealed aluminium frame gaps
Gaps around window frames let fine dust and coastal humidity enter walls and finishes.
More in house renovation.
What goes wrong with most finishing.
The finish is what you see every day, and its mistakes do not hide. These three are the most common.
01A rushed finish
The finish is what you live with every day. Rushing it shows in every corner.
02Four contractors for one finish
Tiling, gypsum, paint and aluminium crews who never talk to each other.
03After-care that never comes
Once you have the keys, it is hard to find anyone to come back and fix what shows up.
The solution?
Full finishing, and maintenance after it, from one licensed company.

Get a quoteRenovation scope
Number of rooms and total area treated directly affects the overall cost.
Extent of existing damage
Deep cracks or long-standing leaks require more intensive and costly treatment.
Finish materials grade
Natural marble and large-format porcelain cost considerably more than standard ceramic.
Demolition of old finishes
Removing multiple layers of old finish adds labour time and waste disposal cost.
Site access conditions
Multi-storey buildings or restricted access points raise execution cost noticeably.

Questions, answered.
Call nowCan general renovation be done in phases?
Yes, works can be split by priority and budget. It is always best to address leaks and structural cracks first before any cosmetic finishing begins.
How do I know if a wall crack needs structural repair or just surface treatment?
Diagonal cracks at opening corners or cracks wider than 1 mm usually need structural injection. Fine horizontal hairline cracks are typically surface-only. A site inspection gives a precise answer.
Does general renovation include replacing old electrical and plumbing lines?
Replacing pipes and wiring can be included in the renovation scope on request. It is best done before walls are closed to avoid reopening them later.
Is it possible to stay in the building during general renovation works?
It depends on the scope. Renovating one room or zone while occupied is workable. Full floor-wide renovation normally requires vacating the building temporarily.
Can wall thermal insulation be added as part of general renovation?
Yes, thermal insulation boards can be fitted to external or internal walls within the renovation phase. This noticeably reduces cooling bills in older Kuwaiti buildings.
