What sets this area apart

Adan is a coastal residential zone with low- to mid-rise houses and apartment buildings whose exposed concrete roofs face salt spray and seawater moisture. Sea salts deposit on the surface and penetrate pores, and concrete here undergoes rapid wet-dry cycles. Before coating, we clean the surface of salt deposits and white salt efflorescence with wire brushes and low-pressure washing, then repair any cracks or spalling with salt-resistant epoxy filler. Coats are applied with sufficient intervals to ensure full cure between layers.

Adan sits in Mubarak Al-Kabeer governorate on a seafront, where sea salts compromise concrete durability.

We use salt-resistant epoxy filler for crack repair in coastal areas before applying the liquid membrane.

Questions about Waterproof coating in Adan

Call now
What is the difference between cleaning a regular roof and a coastal roof before waterproofing?

Coastal roofs require more aggressive removal of sea salts and efflorescence. We use wire brushes and very low-pressure washing to avoid damaging salt-weakened concrete beneath the surface deposits.

Does the waterproof coating differ in coastal areas from inland areas?

The liquid type is the same, but substrate preparation differs. We use salt-resistant epoxy filler in coastal cracks and allow longer intervals between coats to allow deeper cure against salt exposure.
