What sets this area apart

Most buildings in Daiya are residential blocks with one or two basements and residential storeys above, on plots spacious enough for gardens and wide entrances. This design reduces pressure on each column compared to congested commercial zones. Column pouring here requires careful coordination with existing underground services, water, drainage and electricity, especially in the basement. Each column must be kept clear of service routes, which we verify with the site engineer before pouring.

Daiya is located in the Capital governorate, a quiet residential area between Daiya Park and international schools.

Daiya columns typically carry live loads between three hundred and four hundred kilograms per square metre due to light residential usage.

Questions about Column pouring in Daiya

Call now
How do you balance basement columns with those on upper floors?

Basement columns carry the entire building weight above them, so we pour them with larger diameters and stronger concrete. Upper columns are progressively lighter as the load decreases.

Does proximity to water and drainage lines affect column placement?

Yes, we must maintain safe clearance around pipes and drains. We review the plans and existing services with the engineer before placing any column and never pour directly over a drainage line.
