What sets this area apart

Rehab houses sit on medium-sized family plots, most built in the last three decades with sound frames but not originally planned for additional floors. When assessing feasibility, we examine foundation depth and clearance between the existing ceiling and the municipal height limit. Most Rehab homes need only localized column reinforcement by adding new steel and pouring around columns, or limited new supporting beams. The new design must maintain the side and front setbacks as defined by the original building permit.

Rehab lies in Farwaniya governorate, an organized family residential district under the Rehab Housing Co-operative.

Most Rehab house foundations are built at depths between 1.5 and 2.5 metres and typically tolerate additional floors with prior assessment and localized reinforcement.

Questions about Additional floor in Rehab

Call now
How long does a complete floor addition take from assessment to handover?

Assessment and testing take 3 to 4 weeks, municipal application and approval 2 to 4 weeks, then structure and pouring takes 8 to 10 weeks depending on floor size and reinforcement complexity.

What if the soil under the foundation is weak and needs special treatment?

We conduct detailed soil-bearing capacity testing. If weak, we may deepen the foundation or add new support piers at greater depth. This is incorporated into the design before any excavation begins.
