What sets this area apart

Daiya contains old and new villas and mid-rise residential buildings of 3 to 6 floors on plots of 500 to 1000 square metres, many built with red brick or concrete block walls without original insulation. Exterior walls face sun exposure throughout the day, especially south and east facades, pushing interior temperatures up in summer. Interior wall insulation requires isolating corner and open-plan units and careful fixing to avoid cracking old brick. Newer buildings may need assessment of existing insulation thickness or addition of a second layer.

Daiya is in Kuwait capital governorate and contains residential villas and mid-rise apartment buildings near the British School.

Most older villas in Daiya were built with red brick walls 30 to 40 cm thick without integrated cavity insulation.

Questions about Wall thermal insulation in Daiya

Call now
Does interior wall insulation reduce room dimensions in a villa?

Yes, but minimal. An insulation layer 5 to 10 cm thick takes up small room space, and we can reduce it by choosing high-performance material. We discuss this with the villa owner before installation.

Can villa walls be insulated from outside without removing external tiles or paint?

No, exterior insulation requires removal of the surface layer (tiles or paint) and proper wall preparation. After installation, we refinish the facade with new paint or tiles as chosen.
