What sets this area apart

Most Daiya residential buildings are 4 to 6 storeys with tightly packed apartments on load-bearing or lightweight concrete frames. Partition walls between units are often single-thickness block or brick with no original soundproofing, so residents hear neighbour noise clearly. We strip existing plaster and paint, inspect wall thickness and cracks, then install acoustic membranes, absorptive panels and an injected air cavity before replastering and finishing.

Daiya lies in the Capital governorate, a residential district with schools and public parks near the British School of Kuwait.

Partition walls between Daiya apartments are 10 to 15 centimetres thick and require 3 to 4 acoustic layers to achieve acceptable noise reduction.

Questions about Wall soundproofing in Daiya

Call now
Does wall soundproofing mean breaking out the entire old wall?

No, we strip only the plaster, paint and the outer layer of block or brick to fit the soundproofing layers behind it. The core wall remains in place and forms part of the insulation.

How much wall thickness do I lose when soundproofing is installed?

The space reduces by about 5 to 8 centimetres depending on the number of layers and the air cavity needed. We determine the final thickness after inspecting the existing wall and identifying the noise frequencies.
