What sets this area apart

Surra is an upmarket residential district with luxury villas and duplexes on spacious plots, most buildings modern or under development. Modern villas typically have concrete slabs 25 to 30 centimetres thick between storeys with expensive stone or marble floors. Even thick slabs transmit footstep and furniture vibrations without flexible decoupling. We assess the slab and connections to walls and columns, then install specialized resilient layers that preserve high-end flooring quality and cut noise completely.

Surra sits in the Capital governorate, a prestige villa district near the Fourth Ring Road and Surra residential centre.

Concrete slabs in modern Surra villas are usually 26 to 30 centimetres thick and require a resilient layer of at least 8 millimetres to effectively reduce footstep noise.

What the work covers

Survey impact paths through the slab, then install decoupling layers and finished surfaces

  • Impact path survey

Locate where impact noise travels through the slab and columns

  • Resilient underlay layer

Dense resilient mat installed between the slab and the floating screed

  • Floating floor build-up

Compression screed poured over the mat without rigid contact with walls

  • Perimeter isolation strip

Resilient strip around the room perimeter blocks vibration transfer through the wall base

  • Decoupled ceiling below

Suspended ceiling hung on resilient channels breaks the downward vibration path

  • Post-installation check

Impact tap test confirms direct sound paths are sealed before handover

How it works.

  1. Call or whatsApp

Describe the affected floor and noise type to book the site visit

  2. Site survey

We inspect the slab, existing floor and map the impact transmission paths

  3. Quotation

You receive a detailed quote covering materials, method and work schedule

  4. Layer installation

Questions about Floor-to-floor soundproofing in Surra

Call now
Does soundproofing affect the appearance of luxury flooring like marble?

No. The resilient decoupling layer is placed directly under the flooring, so it does not affect the appearance of marble or stone. We select thin isolation materials that do not noticeably raise the floor level.

Can soundproofing be added under existing marble without removing it?

Very difficult. If marble is firmly bonded to mortar and slab, it must be carefully removed and reinstalled on the new decoupling layer. In some cases a thin isolation layer can be added on top of the existing marble.
