What sets this area apart

Abu Fatira contains modern villas and residential buildings of varying heights and tiled floors. Kitchens have wooden or metal cabinetry fixed to walls, and the basin must be cut precisely to match cabinet depth and worktop height. Fixing the marble to a concrete or steel support requires surface preparation and strong cement mortar, with tap holes drilled using diamond tools to prevent cracking.

Abu Fatira is in Mubarak Al-Kabeer governorate, a rapidly expanding modern residential area.

We use specialised cement mortar to bed marble basins on metal supports, to handle the weight and daily kitchen pressure.

Questions about Marble basins in Abu Fatira

Call now
Can a marble basin be fitted over a metal cabinet?

Yes, but the cabinet must be reinforced first. We place a steel support board on top and bed the marble on that board with cement mortar, then seal all gaps with waterproof silicone.

How do you prevent the marble from cracking when drilling tap holes?

We use water-cooled diamond bits and work slowly at low speed. We mark the hole location from the underside first, and stop if stress lines appear.
