Central AC design in Kuwait - Khiran

Central AC design in Khiran

Central AC design in Khiran accounts for harsh coastal conditions, high humidity and salt spray damage to metals and pipes. We calculate extra cooling loads from humidity and specify corrosion-resistant materials and thicker insulation on ducts to prevent condensation. Drawings link units and routes with special provisions for condensate drainage.

What sets this area apart

Khiran chalets are small single or duplex units, 150 to 350 square metres, most facing the sea directly or very close. High humidity and constant exposure to salty sea air mean AC pipes and metals face accelerated rust risk. Design includes special calculations for humidity condensation on internal duct surfaces and sloped drainage routes to quickly remove condensate before rust or wall moisture develops.

Khiran is in Ahmadi governorate, a coastal chalet district near Khiran Resort and Khiran Pearl.

We use stainless-steel pipes and dampers in Khiran to withstand humidity and sea salt.

What the design covers

Detailed drawings that link heat-load figures to duct routes, unit sizes and grille positions

  • Heat load calculation

Room-by-room cooling output needed based on area and exposure

  • System type selection

Choosing between fully ducted and concealed fan-coil layouts

  • Duct routes and ceiling voids

Mapping every duct run through the available ceiling void depth

  • Grille positions

Supply and return grille locations laid out for even room coverage

  • Outdoor unit sizing

Outdoor unit capacity matched to calculated loads, not guesswork

  • Coordination with gypsum works

Duct layout aligned with gypsum ceiling design to avoid clashes

How it works.

  1. Call or whatsApp

Describe the building, its area and the system type you have in mind

  2. Site survey

We measure ceiling voids, check facade orientation and note any obstacles

  3. Load calculations

Room-by-room heat gain figures calculated from survey data

  4. Drawing preparation

Duct routes, sizes and grille positions drawn on dimensioned CAD plans

  5. Review and handover

Drawings reviewed with you, comments addressed and final set handed over

Questions about Central AC design in Khiran

Call now
Do coastal AC systems need different materials than inland zones?

Yes, coastal conditions cause rapid rust on ordinary metals. We select stainless-steel pipes and fittings and increase duct insulation thickness to reduce condensation, and install sloped drain lines to quickly remove water.

How do you prevent humidity buildup inside ducts in a coastal chalet?

We select duct diameter so the tube surface temperature does not drop below the dew point, and add thick insulation to reduce the temperature differential. We drain condensate through sloped lines connected to collection points near the outdoor unit.
