Call nowCan an existing restaurant gas network be extended without replacing the whole line?
Yes, if the existing pipe diameter is sufficient for the added load. We start with a pressure and load check; if the main run is adequate we add branch lines only, otherwise we replace the undersized section and keep the rest.
What is the practical difference between surface and concealed gas routing in a restaurant kitchen?
Surface runs along walls are faster to install and straightforward to inspect later. Concealed runs inside ducts give a cleaner appearance but require building work and make future checks harder, so route drawings become essential.
Why is compressed air used for testing instead of connecting gas straight away?
Testing with air means any leak is found safely without ignition risk. Only after every joint passes the air test is the live gas supply connected.
How long does a full gas network installation take in a mid-size restaurant?
Duration depends on the number of appliances, routing method and whether building work is needed alongside. The site survey gives a clear schedule before work starts.
Does the service include connecting the appliances or does it stop at the outlet points?
The service covers the main network, isolation valves and the flexible tail connection at each appliance. If an appliance requires internal factory calibration, that is coordinated separately with the equipment technician.
