Room construction in Kuwait - Zahraa

Room construction in Zahraa

Room construction in Zahraa runs from foundation excavation through slab and column pouring up to handover of an enclosed, weathertight room ready for finishes. Most added rooms here extend existing villas on known plot grids, so we must coordinate precisely with the existing frame.

What sets this area apart

Zahraa has older and newer villas on medium plots of 500 to 800 square meters. When a villa owner requests a new room, it is often attached to the main structure or in the rear courtyard. We must inspect existing soil, check the old foundation depth, and ensure new footings do not conflict with existing water, electrical and drainage lines. Newer villas often have deep concrete foundations, while older ones may sit on lighter bases, requiring structural assessment before any excavation.

Zahraa is in Hawalli governorate, a historic residential villa district where room expansion requires careful coordination with existing foundations and utilities.

Most Zahraa plots require minimum two-meter setbacks from the road, particularly when extending front facades.

Questions about Room construction in Zahraa

Call now
Can a new room be built attached to an old villa without demolition?

Yes, but we must first do soil testing and structural assessment of the old foundations. If they are adequate, we pour new footings alongside them and carefully tie the new frame to the existing walls.

How do you handle existing water and electrical lines when excavating new foundations?

We request approved drawings from the villa owner showing existing utility routes, then excavate carefully around them. If any lines need rerouting, we coordinate with the electrician and plumber before starting.
