Farm wall construction in Kuwait - Abu Halifa

Farm wall construction in Abu Halifa

A farm wall in Abu Halifa requires careful footing depth calculation due to deep groundwater and shallow sandy soil. We excavate cautiously, monitor water level, pour protected concrete, and build walls with dense reinforcement and thick protective coating.

What sets this area apart

Abu Halifa is a large co-operative farming area with spacious plots ranging from 3000 to 5000 square metres, located in Ahmadi governorate near Ahmadi Town. The soil is sandy with shell layers (coquina), and the groundwater level is very close to the surface, especially in winter and spring. Excavating a farm wall footing requires stopping before hitting water and setting a safe depth between 60 and 100 centimetres depending on season and location. Walls are built at least 30 centimetres thick and covered with thick bitumen paint or resin to block rising moisture from the footing.

Abu Halifa lies in Ahmadi governorate near Ahmadi Town, a wide co-operative farming area on sandy soil with shallow groundwater.

Farm wall footings in Abu Halifa do not exceed 100 centimetres depth to avoid cutting the shallow groundwater layer.

Questions about Farm wall construction in Abu Halifa

Call now
What do we do if we hit water while digging the footing?

We stop digging immediately and do not go deeper. We pour the concrete at water level or just above it, then build the footing wall with highly reinforced concrete and strong waterproofing. Lateral drainage around the footing is essential to pull water away.

Is bitumen paint enough to block rising moisture?

Bitumen paint alone may not be enough long-term. We apply multiple coats or use modern waterproofing systems like thick plastic membranes, coordinated with lateral drainage to prevent water buildup beneath the wall.
