What sets this area apart

Hawalli residential plots range from 500 to 1500 square metres, and the municipality sets front and side setbacks that fix the wall position precisely. Most walls here are concrete, 1.8 to 2.2 metres high, with solid foundations respecting the permit's required dig depth. Sandy soil in Hawalli demands deep footings and lateral bracing to resist subsidence and seasonal moisture. Steel gates are hung on reinforced concrete posts with industrial-grade hinges, and we finish the wall with smooth concrete or decorative stone as requested.

Hawalli is a residential governorate of individual plots and apartments, situated near Hawalli Co-operative Society and the commercial strip on the main road.

The approved front setback in Hawalli is at least 3 metres, and the side setback is at least 1.5 metres under municipality regulations.

Questions about Boundary walls & gates in Hawalli

Call now
What foundation depth is needed for a wall in Hawalli's sandy soil?

We dig the wall foundation to a minimum depth of 60 to 80 centimetres, depending on geotechnical survey results and the wall's proposed height. Sandy soil requires strong footings to prevent settlement.

Can we fit a double steel gate onto a concrete wall?

Yes, we set reinforced concrete posts 40 centimetres in diameter on either side of the gate opening, then fix heavy hinges to the posts. A double gate needs a steel lintel above to distribute the load.
