What sets this area apart

Jabriya is a quiet villa district on plots of 800 to 2000 square metres, with firm sandy soil less prone to subsidence than coastal areas. Villa walls here are concrete, 1.8 to 2.2 metres high, with deep footings around 70 centimetres below design level. The area experiences light seasonal flooding, so we pay attention to drainage levels around the wall and gate. Walls are typically plain or reinforced concrete, finished with decorative stone or paint per the owner's choice. Gates are steel or aluminium with modern designs suited to the contemporary villas in the district.

Jabriya is a quiet residential district in Hawalli, close to Mubarak Hospital, the American University of Kuwait, and Jabriya Co-operative Society.

Soil in Jabriya is firm enough to excavate foundations 70 centimetres deep without additional lateral bracing.

Questions about Boundary walls & gates in Jabriya

Call now
How do we manage seasonal flooding when designing the wall and gate?

We raise the foundation slightly above the surrounding ground level and coordinate drainage slopes with the contractor. The gate is installed so it does not jam from water buildup during flooding.

Can we combine a metal gate with a plain concrete wall?

Yes, we install strong reinforced concrete posts at the gate opening, then fit the metal gate with sturdy locks and reinforcing bars. The transition from concrete to metal is smooth and secure.
