Ground-floor construction in Kuwait - Abu Hasaniya

Ground-floor construction in Abu Hasaniya

Building a reinforced ground floor in Abu Hasaniya means designing it to carry two or three storeys above on medium-sized plots. We start with deep foundations and reinforced pads, then pour columns, beams and the floor slab to specified sections that safely bear the upper loads.

What sets this area apart

Abu Hasaniya plots are split between older residential villas and vacant land zoned for new builds, most with depths between 30 and 40 metres. The ground floor here must fit a vehicle ramp and equipment room with strong foundations sunk 1.5 metres or more below grade, depending on soil type and expected load. We position tower cranes away from neighbouring properties and pour concrete in defined stages according to the engineer's specs and weather conditions.

Abu Hasaniya sits in Mubarak Al-Kabeer governorate, a district of seaside villas and medium-density residential plots.

Most Abu Hasaniya foundations go down 1.5 to 2 metres below natural grade before the ground floor is poured.

Questions about Ground-floor construction in Abu Hasaniya

Call now
How deep do foundations need to go in Abu Hasaniya?

It depends on the soil test and expected load from upper floors. We conduct a bearing test first, then go down between 1.5 and more metres based on the geotechnical recommendation.

Can the ground floor include an equipment room and bathroom without cutting rebar later?

Yes, if the drawings specify pipe routes and openings from the pour stage onward. We leave ducts and drainage pipes in the designated spots according to the engineer's plan before we pour the slab.
