What sets this area apart

Yarmouk has older apartment buildings 4 to 6 storeys high, built decades ago with concrete exposed to moisture and salt. When installing natural stone over existing walls, we carefully assess the structure because any settlement or foundation cracks affect stone stability. Old walls need deep cleaning and crack repair before final sanding. We use metal anchor pins set into the concrete to distribute stone weight across a larger area, with smooth expansion joints and epoxy mortar because older buildings shift slightly with seasons. After installation we apply a strong clear protective coating that shields the stone from salt and moisture for years.

Yarmouk sits in the Capital governorate and contains older buildings near Yarmouk Co-operative and Yarmouk Sports Club.

Older buildings in Yarmouk require foundation crack inspection before facade stone installation.

Questions about Natural stone cladding in Yarmouk

Call now
How do we handle old cracks in apartment building walls before installation?

We first determine if cracks are active (growing) or stable. Stable cracks are filled with flexible epoxy filler, then sanded. Active cracks need structural repair work before any stone installation begins.

Are anchor pins enough to secure stone on old apartment building walls?

Yes, pins distribute stone weight deep into the concrete. We use 10 mm pins spaced 60 cm horizontally and 80 cm vertically, sufficient if the base concrete is sound.
