What sets this area apart

Stables and racing facilities have simple construction: stone or brick walls 3 to 4 metres tall with lightweight metal roofing and broad unpaved yards. Hashemi stone requires a strong wall at least 20 cm thick to withstand loads and wind in open fields, and good ventilation behind it because winter moisture accumulates behind cladding. Dust and sand damage exposed mortar, so we use high-grade orange cement mortar and flush-pointed grouting for protection.

Ahmadi Stables are located in Ahmadi governorate, a centre of equestrian sports and racing activities.

Racing tracks and stables require exterior walls at least 20 cm thick to bear live loads and weather pressure.

Questions about Hashemi stone cladding in Ahmadi Stables

Call now
Does hashemi stone resist dust and wind in open areas?

The stone is durable, but exposed mortar erodes quickly from wind and dust. We use high-grade orange cement mortar and repair gaps periodically to protect the grouting from weathering.

What is the difference in wall thickness between a stable and a typical villa wall?

Stable and track walls need at least 20 cm thickness to bear external loads and strong winds in open fields. Villa walls typically 15 cm suffice because they face less lateral pressure.
