What sets this area apart

Fintas comprises two to three-storey residential villas with front gardens, plus small hotels, resorts and tourism facilities. The area sits directly on the Gulf coast and high atmospheric salinity affects all exposed materials. Direct waterfront facades are exposed to salt spray causing metal rust and rapid concrete and stone deterioration. We select salt-resistant materials such as chosen natural stone, treated concrete, galvanised metals and specialised marine paints.

Fintas sits in Ahmadi governorate directly on the Gulf coast, a tourism and residential area facing high salinity exposure.

We use galvanised metals instead of ordinary steel in all metallic facade components and angles in Fintas to prevent salt corrosion.

Questions about Facade design in Fintas

Call now
How does the facade protect the building from coastal salt spray?

We select dense natural stone resistant to salt, specialised marine paints and galvanised metals only. We avoid ordinary iron and porous stone that absorbs salt quickly.

Is ordinary concrete adequate for buildings near the sea in Fintas?

No, we use salt-resistant treated concrete with additional protective coating on exposed surfaces. Ordinary concrete deteriorates rapidly under salt spray and coastal moisture.
