What sets this area apart

Rumaithiya is a modern waterfront district with large residential villas and multi-storey apartment blocks on spacious plots directly on the coast. Proximity to salt water means very high relative humidity year-round and continuous salt spray deposition, especially on facades directly overlooking the Gulf. This requires selecting artificial stone panels with very low-porosity surface treatment and adhesives formulated with high chemical resistance to chlorides and sulphates. We apply very thick vapour barriers to prevent salt penetration to the concrete, and seal each panel around all edges with edge-sealing compound applied post-installation.

Rumaithiya in Hawalli governorate is a modern coastal district directly on Kuwait Bay.

We apply vapour barriers no less than 0.4 mm thick and edge-seal after installation on every coastal facade in Rumaithiya.

Questions about Artificial stone cladding in Rumaithiya

Call now
What is the difference in protecting artificial stone in Rumaithiya versus inland areas?

Rumaithiya is on the Gulf directly, so salt and humidity are far higher. We choose lower-porosity panels and twice-thick vapour barriers, and apply post-installation edge-sealing we don't use inland.

Does sea spray damage joints more than the panels themselves?

Yes, joints are the weak point because they are open. Salt spray deposits in them and corrodes concrete behind. We choose grout with very strong chloride inhibitor and apply protective coating every two years.
