What sets this area apart

Fintas is a coastal zone of luxury villas and cooperative housing apartments overlooking the sea, with external walls exposed to wind, moisture and constant marine noise. Shared internal walls between units also transmit sounds from daily activity and nearby traffic. We use moisture-resistant soundproofing layers with a sealed metal frame and corrosion-resistant coated mineral fibres to prevent moisture spread from the harsh coastal environment.

Fintas sits in Ahmadi governorate, a coastal zone of villas and residential blocks near the cooperative, where marine noise and wind affect both external and shared walls.

Coastal external walls require moisture-resistant sound materials and special weatherproofing to prevent water penetration from strong winds.

Identify which walls transmit noise and assess their construction

  • Resilient channel framing

Metal profiles that decouple the new lining from the existing wall

  • Mineral wool infill

Cavity packed with acoustic-grade mineral wool at the correct density

  • Dual-layer gypsum board

Two staggered layers that break the vibration path through the board

  • Penetration sealing

Seal cable outlets, pipes and service holes with acoustic compound

  • Finished surface

Joints taped and surface levelled ready for paint or any finish

How it works.

  1. First contact

Call or WhatsApp us; describe which walls and what noise bothers you

  2. Site visit

We measure walls, trace sound paths and map service penetrations

  3. Quote and spec

Detailed quote covering materials, layer count and final lining thickness

  4. Installation

Framing, wool infill, board layers and penetration sealing in correct sequence

Questions about Wall soundproofing in Fintas

Call now
Do soundproofing layers protect against coastal moisture and water leaks?

The insulation layers themselves are not waterproof, but we select materials with moisture-resistant coatings and protected mineral fibres. Any leaks in the original wall must be repaired before installation, and we seal gaps around the frame with liquid-applied sealant.

Do strong sea sounds require thicker soundproofing layers?

Yes, low frequencies from waves and wind need greater mass. We increase gypsum board thickness from 12.5 mm to 15 mm on the seaward side and extend the air gap to 60 mm for better heavy-sound absorption.
