Kitchen parquet in Abbasiya

Kitchen parquet in Abbasiya requires careful sealing and tight bonding because most buildings here are older with cracked foundations and moisture seepage. We dry, clean and seal the base thoroughly before laying.

What sets this area apart

Abbasiya is an older residential area with three to four-storey buildings and relatively small apartments; the concrete foundations are older and prone to cracking and rising damp from soil. Flat kitchens are cramped and often face outer walls, exposed to external moisture and daily steam. Before laying parquet, we inspect the foundation for cracks and seepage, arrange drying with heaters if needed, and apply a double moisture barrier of primer or epoxy. We then bond boards with heavy adhesive and seal the gap between boards and walls with a moisture-blocking tape.

Abbasiya sits in Farwaniya governorate, an older residential area of small to medium flats.

We test concrete substrate moisture with electrical meters before laying and do not start until it falls below safe limits.

Questions about Kitchen parquet in Abbasiya

Call now
What do you do if the concrete is damp or has old cracks?

We inspect cracks, assess them, and may use injection fillers or level-fill before sealing. High moisture requires extra drying with heaters or forced ventilation before installation.

Do you provide protection against rising damp from below the building?

We apply a double moisture barrier (epoxy or primer) to the full base. If rising damp is severe, we may recommend improving underfloor ventilation or side gaps before installation.
