What sets this area apart

Firdous comprises modern villas and mid-rise residential buildings on 30 metre-deep or deeper plots, many with wooden shade structures and perimeter fencing. The exterior woodwork faces direct UV radiation, intense heat, and light salt moisture. We hand-sand each surface with fine grit to completely strip old paint, then apply gap and crack filler, a moisture and salt-blocking primer, and two top coats of water-based acrylic or polyurethane with strong UV-blocking additives.

Firdous sits in Farwaniya governorate, a modern residential district of villas and apartment blocks on deep plots with extensive outdoor spaces.

We incorporate strong UV-blocking additives in the final paint coat to protect exposed wooden surfaces from fading and checking.

Questions about Wood painting in Firdous

Call now
Do wooden shade structures and fences need different paint than house doors?

Exposed outdoor surfaces like shade structures and fences require stronger primer coats and more intensive UV protection. House doors may use lighter primer because they get partial shelter from weather.

How do you sand aged wood without damaging the underlying structure?

We use fine-grit abrasives at moderate pressure, sanding only the surface to remove old paint and oxidation. If we find rot or structural weakness in the wood, we recommend repair or replacement before painting.
