Stair marble in Kuwait - Abu Hasaniya

Stair marble in Abu Hasaniya

Stair marble installation in Abu Hasaniya requires special care because most villas face the sea and are exposed to high humidity and salt air. We select marble resistant to salinity and moisture and carefully inspect the stair substrate before solid fixing.

What sets this area apart

Villas in Abu Hasaniya feature spacious interior stairs of 12 to 16 steps spread over a taller-than-standard rise, and the concrete is usually from recent pours with a relatively smooth surface. But proximity to the sea means moisture penetrates the concrete easily, so we use a salinity-resistant cement underbed beneath the marble. Also, modern villas often use light-coloured marble, which requires more care in cleaning and final polishing to avoid staining and yellowing.

Abu Hasaniya is in Mubarak Al-Kabeer governorate, a district of modern residential villas directly overlooking the Gulf.

Stair steps in Abu Hasaniya villas typically measure 20 cm rise and 35 cm tread depth.

Questions about Stair marble in Abu Hasaniya

Call now
How do you protect the marble from sea moisture and salt effects?

We apply an underbed of salt-resistant white cement beneath the stone and select high-density marble that resists moisture. After fixing we apply a transparent protective seal to prevent surface degradation.

Can light-coloured marble be fixed on stairs without staining or yellowing?

Yes, but it requires careful selection of adhesive and immediate cleaning. We use pure white cement and remove excess before it sets, then apply a stain-blocking seal upon completion.
