In most cases yes. Doors and drawers are removed for spraying and treatment while fixed carcasses stay in place if they are structurally sound. Full dismantling is only needed when the carcass is damaged or a leak sits behind the units.
Why does kitchen wood swell and crack faster in Kuwait?
Kuwaiti kitchens cycle between intense cooking heat and cold AC air, and repeated expansion and contraction cracks the lacquer and opens panel edges. Coastal humidity then drives moisture into those cracks, causing the underlying board to swell.
Does wooden kitchen renovation include changing the worktop?
Not by default. Wooden kitchen renovation covers cabinets, doors and drawers. Worktop replacement is assessed separately depending on the material chosen, whether marble, porcelain or otherwise.
When is repair enough and when must the cabinet carcass be replaced?
If the cabinet carcass is structurally intact with no rot or delamination, resurfacing doors and panels is sufficient. If the carcass has broken down from prolonged moisture, replacement is more economical than attempting a repair.
How long should the kitchen stay unused after the wood is recoated?
It depends on the coating type and ventilation conditions. The technicians will advise the exact waiting period after application, as lacquer and primer layers each need sufficient curing time before the kitchen returns to full daily use.
