Standard gypsum board is not suitable for high moisture. In kitchens and bathrooms we use moisture-resistant boards with green or blue core. These boards require an additional waterproof barrier behind tile or moisture-resistant paint.
What if the concrete floor is not perfectly level?
We use adjustable metal base plates to correct unevenness. We may need to pour a thin levelling screed over part of the floor before final frame installation.
