What sets this area apart

Eqaila is a relatively modern residential area with villas and apartment buildings of 3 to 5 storeys on medium-sized plots (500 to 1,500 square metres), equipped with modern air-conditioning systems, electric water heaters and LED lighting. Most residential units have no commercial units, which simplifies circuit distribution and load management. The board is installed inside the building or in a ventilated external cabinet protected from moisture, with conductors chosen based on expected load and distance from the main meter.

Eqaila sits in Ahmadi governorate, a modern residential area near Al Kout Mall and commercial facilities.

We use copper conductors with 10 square-millimetre cross-sections for moderate-load circuits and 16 square millimetres for kitchen and supplementary heating.

Questions about Distribution board installation in Eqaila

Call now
What is the difference between a standard breaker and a residual current breaker in the board?

A standard breaker (MCB) protects against overcurrent and short circuits. A residual current breaker (RCD) detects current leaking to ground and cuts it instantly; it is essential in bathrooms, kitchens and damp areas. We install the RCD on separate circuits with 30 milliampere sensitivity.

Must the electrical board be inspected at a certain interval after installation?

We do not specify a fixed interval, but periodic inspection is important. We recommend a visual check of the board and conductors annually to ensure no heat damage or corrosion, and test breaker operation to confirm they work properly. Any sign of trouble warrants calling a qualified technician.
