What sets this area apart

Abu Halifa is a large housing cooperative in Ahmadi comprising older villas and apartment blocks on regular plots. Older construction has marble and natural stone tiles bonded with historical cement, needing very careful removal to avoid cracking sometimes-fragile bases. Newer buildings have standard ceramics, but salt deposits from nearby coastal moisture weaken the bond. We work with light picks, chisels and very low-speed breakers, and immediately drain water and salts after breaking before final cleaning.

Abu Halifa sits in Ahmadi governorate near Ahmadi Town.

We drain excess water and moisture from the surface immediately after breaking before allowing it to air-dry naturally.

Questions about Tile removal in Abu Halifa

Call now
Is natural stone tile harder to remove than ceramic?

Much harder. Stone bonds stronger and its pores absorb water and salts. We use thin chisels and breakers under 1000 rpm to prevent stone fragmentation and base weakening.

How do you deal with salt buildup under tiles from coastal moisture?

We scrape salts with a wire brush after tile removal, then rinse the surface multiple times with fresh water to remove all salt completely. We air-dry with fans before any subsequent treatment.
