What sets this area apart

Wafra is an old agricultural neighbourhood in Ahmadi with villas and rural houses scattered on large plots near the Saudi border. Groundwater is very high here and soil is saturated with salt and moisture. Old bathrooms suffer from rising damp from below ground and constant seepage, even new tile gets wet and cracks fast without very strong waterproofing. Removing old tile reveals damp concrete and salt buildup from rising moisture. We strip, apply enhanced and very strong waterproof layers to block rising damp, and use tile and mortar strongly specified for deep moisture and salt resistance.

Wafra lies in Ahmadi governorate, an old agricultural neighbourhood near the Saudi border with very high groundwater.

We apply enhanced waterproof layers to block rising groundwater moisture before any new tile is set.

Questions about Bathroom retiling in Wafra

Call now
What is the difference between side moisture and rising groundwater damp?

Side moisture comes from bathroom walls and water pipes, rising damp comes from soil below via concrete. In Wafra, rising groundwater is severe and needs very strong waterproofing because the water table is very high.

Is one strong waterproof layer enough in Wafra or do we need multiple layers?

We apply multiple layers in Wafra because rising groundwater is very severe. One layer may fail under sustained groundwater pressure, so we use enhanced waterproofing with overlapping layers and extra coats around pipes and corners.
