What sets this area apart
Salmi is a district of spaced villas on broad plots in an extremely dry desert setting near the Iraqi border, where bathrooms face severe daytime aridity and sudden moisture from use. Temperature swings between winter mornings and summer afternoons can exceed 30 degrees Celsius, which requires wide expansion gaps and high-spec tempered glass. Local water is also very hard, and we clean the screen of deposits at least every two months.
Salmi sits in Jahra governorate, a district of villas in the desert landscape near the Iraqi border.
Expansion gaps in the screen frame in Salmi must be at least six millimetres wide to absorb material movement from temperature swings.

Questions about Glass shower screens in Salmi
Call nowCan large temperature differences cause tempered glass to crack?
Tempered glass is designed to withstand large temperature differences, provided there is no sudden exposure to very cold water. We leave wide expansion gaps in the frame to reduce stress on the glass.
How often must the screen be cleaned of limescale in Salmi?
Water in Salmi is very hard, so we recommend cleaning the screen at least every two months. Regular cleaning preserves glass clarity and prevents deposit buildup on the frame and fasteners.
