What sets this area apart

Zahraa is a villa-only residential area on plots of 500 to 800 square metres with older construction; groundwater sits close to the surface. When we excavate for the underground tank, we measure the water table and manage side drainage to prevent tank seepage. Older villas often need their old concrete tanks replaced with new reinforced ones, so we remove the old tank carefully, then set formwork, steel and pour in a safe spot within the plot. The damp clay soil requires continuous drainage during excavation and pouring.

Zahraa sits in Hawalli governorate, an older villa-only residential area on medium plots with shallow groundwater.

Underground tank depth in Zahraa ranges from one to seven metres depending on the water table and the required storage height.

Questions about Underground tank construction in Zahraa

Call now
How do you manage groundwater when excavating the tank?

We measure the water table before excavation and install lateral drainage during digging and pouring to prevent water rising inside the tank pit. After pouring, we waterproof the tank with cement layers and waterproof membranes.

Can you remove the old tank and install a new one in the same spot?

Yes, but we choose a safe spot within the plot for excavation and pouring, then verify groundwater depth before setting the new tank at a safe clearance above it.
