What sets this area apart

Abbasiya is a dense residential area with four to six storey buildings on small, closely packed plots. This density means drainage networks serve large numbers of units from limited roof area. Multi-level roofs and side balconies require water collection from several points, so we use distributed collection ports and edge drains. Also, Abbasiya's historical expansion has evolved the municipal system, so we confirm compatibility before connecting.

Abbasiya lies in Farwaniya governorate, a densely built residential area of apartment blocks.

We separate drainage networks from water and electrical lines by a minimum horizontal distance of one metre.

Questions about Storm-water drainage in Abbasiya

Call now
How do you drain rainwater from multi-storey building roofs?

We fit collection ports on each roof or balcony and run vertical lines inside or along the building wall to a main horizontal line. Each vertical line has an inspection chamber at mid-height for cleaning access.

Can the building's internal drainage be linked to our storm-drainage network?

No, internal sanitary drainage must be completely separate from storm-water network. Each system has different standards and gradients, and mixing causes flooding and blockages. We consult the design engineer to confirm both systems are independent.
